Our spring hours of operation will be Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

English for Speakers of Other Languages is provided via our affiliate the Moab Valley Multicultural Center http://www.moabvalleymulticulturalcenter.org/.

The Moab Valley Multicultural Center will be offering an intensive ESOL session that will run from January 3rd until February 2nd.  The sessions will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10am-12pm.  Additional workshops that include computer literacy, job applications, financial assistance and library use will run Thursday from 10am-12pm.

Volunteers are always needed to assist in the teaching of these classes.  If you’re interested in becoming an ESOL teacher or assistant, please call Megan Gette at the Moab Valley Multicultural Center (435-259-5444).

Arches Education Center has been selected as a non-profit partner of WabiSabi for the 2012 year! Be sure to vote for us when you make a purchase or donation at either of the WabiSabi locations.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to raise $1,545 to fully fund our GED and ESL classes in Green River. Our enrollment so far has been excellent, with 23 students signed up. The first day of classes will be on November 1.

Our GED Math Prep Class is a five-week course that is offered Monday, Wednesday and Thursday of each week. The class is offered at 3:30-5:00, but a demand occurs we will also hold a morning session. This class will cover all of the elements needed to successfully pass the math portion of the GED battery of tests.

Our next course will begin January 16th and will continue until February 23rd. Please note that there is  $1.00 per class fee for attendance. You also need to be a student at Arches Education Center to attend. Please call us for specifics on this process.
